WHO WE ARE
My career has touched on most facets of the music industry. I have been a song writer, educator, student, performer, technical producer, singer, composer, technician, consultant, lecturer, player, fan, author, equipment designer, and inventor. I have been blessed and fortunate that my passion for music also was able to become my livelihood. Since 1994, I have served many thousands of customers through my home based business, Wild Dutch’s Guitar Hospital. During that time period, I developed unique, and pioneering techniques and methods to increase the sustain, gain, tone, musicality, and to reduce the noise of my customers’ instruments and equipment. Innovative Guitar Products LLC is the culmination of decades of experience of meeting and exceeding customer’s expectations. Logically, the next step in this evolution is to bring these advances to you.
STORE POLICY
- No minimum order
- Orders will be filled as soon as they are paid for “In full”
- Orders will be shipped as soon as possible, same day if practical, the next day if necessary once they have been paid in full.
- Back orders will be filled and shipped, as soon as possible.
- Packaging- In order to conserve resources, contain costs, and use time as efficiently as possible, your order may arrive in a recycled envelope, containers, packages, and boxes. Whichever is smallest, lightest and most practical will be used to package your product. I am a firm believer in “keeping it green” and reducing shipping and packaging costs to a bare minimum while still being practical. Have no fear your order will arrive safe and sound!

THE ACOUSTA PEG LOCKING BRIDGE SYSTEM
The raw, organic, harmonic tone of an acoustic guitar is possibly my most favorite musical sound in the world. Don’t get me wrong, I love the sound of a blazing electric guitar ripping through a full stack, but even that tone has its fundamental roots in the good old traditional acoustic guitar. Certainly, that natural, fundamental interaction between wood, strings, and fingers, has a unique, musical personality. Even an “electric” guitar is still fundamentally an “acoustic” instrument. It is from this observation of the acoustic nature of instruments, and even speakers, that has formed the basis of most of my research and work. The question to me always has been “How organic can the instrument sound, in its most basic state, even unplugged?” With the The Acousta Peg Locking Bridge System, I was able to extend my reach into sonic heaven. Everything I loved about an acoustic guitar was magnified; everything I did not like was reduced, or eliminated. The tone, sustain, volume, and frequency response were all dramatically, and noticeably improved instantly. The “improved musicality” of the instrument was immediately apparent. The string balance and harmonic content were almost “three-dimensional”. Very impressive, very inspiring!
I have installed hundreds of sets of The Acousta Peg Locking Bridge System pins on my customers’, band mates’ and my own personal guitars over the years- no failures, no returns, no disappointments! Every acoustic guitar on the first Verve Daddy album Ain’t My Street, was equipped with them.

Whilst winding my way around the Powemad venue, I came across an interesting sight/site…proclaiming WILD DUTCH’S GUITAR HOSPITAL, in large letters and featuring all manner of esoteric guitar parts (of which I confess total ignorance). Manned by a very laid back critter with a HUGE smile, fronted by a shiny red guitar with a sign proclaiming “try me”….if both women and journalist’s possess large reservoirs of curiosity, and I am both…this was sure bait.
A bit of investigation uncovered a couple of useful “Wild Dutch” books and something called a tremelo bar, which meant nothing to me but was the cause of serious salivation by my guitarist friends at the show. Taking their enthusiasm for a north star, I spent a few minutes at various times during the marathon two days I was at the show. My journalistic nose quivered. I could stand it no longer. A quiet moment arrived, I pounced. And John Boehnlein, aka Wilddutch got himself interviewed.
